I have been working on my higher end silver pieces lately, which is why its taken me longer to post new things, the higher end stuff is a lot more time consuming to make. I have two rings finished, and I present you with the first of this finished lot, the other I need to find the perfect lighting for taking it's picture before I can share it with you! Alumni Exhbitions and Fashion Week!

It's fashion week here in Montreal, and apparantly this year is looking to be a more positive due to increasing governmental grants to support Quebec artisans. Hopefully I can figure out where exactly these grants come from and apply for them!

Thursday Means Visual Arts Centre

Today is Thursday! Which means I have my jewelry class with my wonderful teacher Cynthia Hawkes, and all my great friends at the Visual Arts Centre. I love this class because it allows me to have a guidance and fun all at the same time!

I finally finished my lava rock earrings!

Lovely, Lovely, Lovely!

Yesterday was a wonderful day for many reasons. First of all I went to use the studios at the jewelry school and they are so amazing! I had access to all the recources I needed and I could stay there pretty much all day! Definitely gonna take advantage of that!

Second, I got another personal request for a necklace through a great client and friend.

Last but NOT least! my day was made by one of my wonderful clients, she sent me a card to thank me for the necklace I sold her! It was so wonderful to get, I couldn't believe how sweet she is!

So, a big thanks to all my supporters. I have a beautiful necklace to show for yesterdays effort and a pair of earrings, which aren't quite ready yet.

It's Monday!

Today was a busy busy day! I have SO much to do this week it's crazy! 

First things first: in two weeks Markhed will be found at Hall's Florist in Montreal West! Hooray! 

Other than that my next goal is to get into a wholesale show. Where the stores go to stock their stores up!

Hello First Day

So today is my first day at the Ecole de Joaillerie de Montreal . I'm pretty excited, but nervous too! 

Also I made this pretty awesome necklace yesterday that made me really happy! 

It's a short post today, but I'll update you with how it goes. I AM going hiking with David (The boyfriend) tomorrow, but I think I might be able to get a post in!
